Die Andere Heimat – Chronik einer Sehnsucht

Prequel trilogy Heimat Edgar Reitz performed for television in 1984, 1993 and 2004 which follows the history of Germany in the twentieth century through a fictional German people. This film is set in the mid-19th century and follows the Hunsrück family looking to escape poverty and hunger starting a new life in Brazil. Divided into two parts: Home From Home (107 minutes) and Chronicle of a Vision (128 minutes)
